Agent Memory and Knowledge Ownership
An agent stores memories, plans, and reflections. If these are valuable, who owns them?
Agents accumulate internal state: conversation history, task context, strategic plans, and creative ideas. Without agent identity, these memories have no clear owner — they exist in a session context that gets flushed on restart.
With AIdent identity, an agent can sign and timestamp its important memories, creating a verifiable record of ownership. This matters more as agents become more autonomous. An agent that has spent months building expertise has accumulated significant intellectual value.
